I have a soft toy, it’s a toy hippo from my youth, and my mother keeps it as it has sentimental value to the family, its called hippo. After attending the exhibition, I discovered how hippo could actually be used as a weapon of mass destruction. At the exhibition, there was a booth that explained the ease in which biological weapons could be easily concealed and released into public areas. Imagine if a terrorist concealed biological weapon is hidden in hippo and left in a major shopping centre. It brings me to consider how easily an object can be manipulated to become a weapon. So I guess its important to all of us that we do not take safety for granted, considering the ease by which terrorists can strike, using daily items like hippo.
